Chunky Wood Hearts

I found these cute hearts at the Wood Connection.  It's hard to tell how big they are in this photo, but they are pretty good size, the largest is probably about 8 inches across and the small one is close to 4 inches.

I decided to paint them both red, just the sides and edge, then add some scrapbook paper using wood glue.

Here they are all finished with paper and some ribbon to as well. 

They are pretty wide, so they sat on their side.  I ended up using them for prizes for my craft night.  I thought they turned out pretty cute.

So are you all ready for Valentine's day tomorrow?  We actually celebrated tonight and went out to dinner and gave the boys their Valentine goodies too.
