Simple Co-worker or Neighbor Gift Idea - Santa
I mentioned for Thanksgiving we were spending the day with my husband's family. Well, I thought it would be fun to make a holiday craft while we were visiting and stuffing our faces with turkey.
I saw this idea on Pintrest of course, but the original source was from Splitcoaststampers. You could use this idea to cover a candy bar, popcorn, hot chocolate, gift card, DVD, or whatever else you may want to gift this Christmas season.
Here are the supplies I used that I picked up from Michael's.
I decided to wrap some microwave popcorn. Now this isn't just any ole microwave popcorn, it's MY FAVORITE microwave popcorn. Orville's Tender White - have you tried it? Delish!! The whole pop up bowl thing is just brilliant.
Anyway, back to my craft. Wrap the red paper and secure with double sided tape. Add a strip of black paper, a gold square and then another black square on top of that. Add three gems or buttons and then hot glue a piece of boa to the top and bottom. When you get done, you'll have a big feathery mess to clean up too.
Then just make a whole slew of them since they're so quick and easy.
I plan to make these for my co-workers this year. Such a fun idea.
