Land of the Free

So now that spring is on its way out (I think this has been the longest spring ever) and summer is here to stay (even though we haven't busted out the pool yet), I figured it's high time I get working on some summer decor projects. I wanted to make something to send off with a care package so this is what I came up with. Here are my supplies - the vinyl I ordered from Utah Vinyl.

I painted my board blue and sanded down the edges.

Added the vinyl with the inlay.

Then I added a little twine on both ends.

Super quick and easy.  I think it took me like 20 min to make this since it was almost 90 degrees outside the paint dried super fast.
