Spring Mantel

My Spring mantel is finally done.  I just love how it turned out.

I showed you my pedestal birdhouses here.  The birds I picked up last spring at Michael's.

I gave my topiary a little makeover by adding some white blossoms.  You can read more about that here.

And then I added the final touch yesterday with my weathered spring sign.

The pretty yellow forsythia branches add the perfect touch of spring.  I found it on clearance last fall at Roberts.  But it looks totally real, huh?

The tulips are finally up, the daffodils are blooming, the grass is growing and warmer weather is finally here!!!  Happy Spring!

  2. I need one of the pedestal bird houses! I love the color of blue...but then again I like all hues of blue. ;) Very tastefully done and balanced. I didn't see one dust bunny either! Good job, Kathy! Thanks again for linking to my blog. I can tell we have a lot in common! Talk to you later.
