Grateful Pennant Banner
I have been wanting to make a banner for my Thanksgiving mantel and today I finally got it done - even though it's less than a week away. I created an outline of my letters in Word.
I cut them out and used them as a template to trace onto some dark brown cardstock.
Then to make the pennants, I folded a piece of paper in half and cut it at an angle to create a triangle.
I used the template to cut out my pennants out of patterned scrapbook paper.
I attached the letters with some double sided tape. I punched a hole in both sides of my pennant and ran some twine through the holes to hang it up.
Then it was ready to display. I just love how it turned out.

Very cute! I have been making the banners out of burlap...but that is really cute out of the paper.

Great job! Didn't get around to doing a banner for Thanksgiving this year but it's first on my list for next year.
ReplyDeleteОчень красиво получилось))) Собираюсь сделать нечто похожее, только с разными флагами для сыночка))
