The Beginning . . .
Well since this is my first post on my new blog, I figured it deserved a very predictable title. What more can I say. . . it's the beginning for Dandelions and Dust Bunnies, two things I try to live without. But somehow they keep popping up in my yard and in my house. So as I continually try to keep up with them, I like to learn new things along the way. I like to dabble in a little crafting, sprucing and revamping. More recently I've learned to do a little thrifting too.
I found this great piece of art for $2.00 at my local thrift store.
I decided it could use a little TLC. So I pulled out my trusty black spray paint and gave the frame a couple of coats and then decided to paint right over that beautiful art with some primer followed by a little cream spray paint. My recent preschool graduate gave me a wonderful mother's day gift and so I thought this would be the perfect frame for it.
So here it is ready to hang on my wall.

The best part about it is you can't even tell the frame is actually PLASTIC. I'm loving it!!
Well I hope you will check back often with more fabulous projects to come.
