Happy St. Patrick's Day Sign
I wanted to make a Happy St. Patrick's Day sign for my mantel this year. I ordered some vinyl from Jill over at Utah Vinyl. [She has the best prices around, so if you're looking for some vinyl go check out her website.] This sign was $5.00 and it's big. We're talking it would fit on a 5x21 piece of wood.
I was originally going to make my sign horizontal, but then decided it would fit better on my mantel vertical. So I just cut the vinyl apart. I also used a piece of sub flooring I had leftover from our kitchen floor redo.
I painted my wood Americana Buttermilk. Then I pulled out my shamrock door knocker I found in my stash of St. Patty's Day decor.
I cut off the rest of the shamrocks (the others I used for my candle update here), added some black and white gingham ribbon and then used a little double sided foam tape and stuck them to my board. I love how it turned out!
