LUCK
I found these unfinished wooden letters at Robert's - the store was closing so I got these for about $.80 each.
I also found this paper that had four different patterns on one page. So I snagged that up too. I also used some dark green cardstock.
I mounted the pattern paper on the cardstock.
I painted my letters Americana Buttermilk. Put my cardstock in some black frames and then attached the letters with some double sided foam tape.
Now they're sitting pretty on my mantel.

These are too, too cute! I like how the wooden letters give some unexpected dimension to the display. Have you heard of the CSI Project (csiproject.com)? They have a weekly competition every Thursday, and this week it is Green/St. Patrick's Day. You should enter!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy, they turned out really cute! I love and enjoy seeing all your St. Paddy's Day decor.
