Bead Board Pumpkin
I went to the Wood Connection the other day here in Salt Lake and saw the most adorable fall stuff. I just had to make one of their bead board pumpkins. I picked up the kit and put it together that same day.
The bead board was actually separate.
I painted the bead board Heritage Brick.
Gave it a good sanding.
Then I painted the pumpkin stem Mississippi Mud.
And the rest of the pumpkin Burnt Orange.
I sanded the edges of the pumpkin and then attached the bead board with some liquid nails. I also added a little raffia and ribbon and was done.
Now it's ready for display.
Now since Saturday is my birthday I thought it would be fun to make another one and give it away to one of you lucky people.
Since this pumpkin is pretty tall - about 12 inches and a little chunky - I will only ship within the U.S. So if you want it, just follow along, or if you already do, just let me know and leave me a comment. I will pick a winner next Thursday, Sept 29.
That is so cute Kathy! I love the added bead board.
