Leaf Balls
Well I had a brilliant idea to make some leaf balls. I picked up some fall foliage at Michaels, a couple styrofoam balls from Dollar Tree and used some push pins I had on hand.
I pulled the leaves off the branch and just randomly starting pinning them to the ball.
When I got done - I wasn't sure if this was such a brilliant idea or not. I wasn't totally excited with how they turned out - they were just okay.
But then I decided to put them on my kitchen cupboards and from a distance they looked great. Loved the falls colors and the space they filled.
It's okay if you don't like them either - I was a little mixed on the outcome. But I love them now sitting pretty up there.
Okay, so don't forget to leave me a comment on this post if you want to win the bead board pumpkin and this post if you want to win the fall charger. I'll be picking winners tomorrow and Friday.

I like them! Perfect pop of fall color on that little shelf unit.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Sometimes when one has an idea in their head and then they put it together, it's not what they thought it would be, but when other people see it, it's one of the greatest ideas they've seen. Good job!
